Mr Tai graduated from University of Birmingham, UK with an (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering in 2005. Started off his career as project engineer at construction site and working the way to be the executive director of a local building contractor. He has been involved in more than 100 projects of various sizes from a single bungalow to commercial / industrial project to a size of RM 100M. He was fully sponsored to IMD Lausanne for a leadership seminar by HOLCIM in 2014. Subsequently, he was sponsored to be trained in Daiwa training centre in Nara, Japan in 2018 for a pre-fabricated project in Johor Bahru. In 2016, he got empanelled to be an adjudicator for AIAC. Since 2017, he was accredited as a GBIF and was the chairman of Malaysia GBC Southern Chapter in 2019. He partners with associates to run a green building practice – Conevo Green Consultancy since 2015. Aside from the building industry, he is also involved in the property and hospitality industry. Currently, his focus is in the real estate agency – ERA real estate. His bold and sole goal is to lead the Johor branch to a team-size of 1000-strong associates before 2022.
